Micromax Bharat 5 was launched in India on Friday (01/12/2017), one of the latest low-cost 4G smartphones from Indian Brand Micromax. Recently, Xiaomi Launched Redmi 5A which they called it as Desh ka Smartphone and today Micromax launch the competitor for Xiaomi Redmi 5A in India.

The biggest highlight of Bharat 5 of Micromax is its massive 5000mAh battery and not only this it comes with bundled offer announced in partnership with Vodafone. The smartphone will only be available to buy via offline smartphone retailed in India.

Micromax also announced in its launch event that it will launch more smartphones in the series of Bharat-Series such as Bharat 5 Plus, and Bharat 5 Pro and they planned to be launched in the next two months so you can say in New Year 2018 you will have more choices in Budget-Friendly Smartphones in India. Micromax also said that they hope that Bharat-Series phones will cross 6 million units sold by March 2018.

Micromax Bharat 5 price in India has been set at Rs. 5,555 and it will be available to buy via offline stores in the country. At this price point, it is competing with recently launched Xioami Redmi 5A, that apart from the huge battery on Bharat 5, offer much better specs and Micromax also gives you chance to grab some offers on its launch, Micromax says that any new or old Vodafone customer will get additional 10GB of data a month for 5 months that means you will get additional 50GB data for next 5 months.

Micromax Bharat 5 comes with dual-SIM and Android Nougat, and sports a 5.2-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of DDR3 RAM. The Bharat 5 comes with 5MP cameras on board, on the front and back both featuring same capacity camera’s with LED flash modules on both sides.

It has 5000mAh battery that the company claims is rated to deliver up to 2 days of battery life and a standby time of up to 3 weeks.
